Würzburg

WThis past weekend most of our little tribe (minus Juice because of his baseball game) traveled to our second stop on the Romantic Road: Würzburg. This is a bigger city that is very pretty in its own right! It was a beautiful river, many churches, and much more. I won't bore you with my typing here for too long I will just let the pictures do the talking, there are some good ones i think! On Saturday night we came and visited Smoke's girlfriend Laura's place. She studies in Würzburg and we had a little shindig in her apartment with some of her friends and roommates. On Sunday we had a traditional Bavarian breakfast and then got to cruise the town with some German guides!

Breakfast

About two blocks from Laura's place

We stopped by a fourth league football game!

Not the greatest of competition... haha

The most famous building in Würzburg, the Residence Palace.

The entrance, we missed the tour by like ten minutes...

Behind and on the side of the palace there was an awesome garden

I'm not sure what's going on here....

Picture of a picture hehe

Dusty and Justice we decided... fighting over something....

Da boys. And the first picture I'm pretty sure that Smoke hasn't thrown the shocker...

Rothen.. wait for it...burg

Our friend and fellow Unicorn, Thomas Rauch, decided to bring me, paul, and a few other friends to his home town of Rothenburg. A city included along one of the most famous roads in Germany, the "Romantic Road", Rothenburg has a lot to offer when it comes to historical significance. The old part of the city is completely encompassed by a large stone wall, there are many gorgeous churches, and of course historic german architecture in every building. It ended up being a great trip! I will definitely have to come back and visit again to see more, because I don't think we did it justice!

When we arrived at Smoke's place we had a great little bbq, with a plethora  of different meats and noodles and bread! We went to town til the sun went down on our little shin dig!

Once we were done goofing off we headed out on the town to see some of the nightlife! We had a nice little walk through some of the sweet brick wall passage ways and archs, and we even found some authentically clothed people!

Check out the sweet get ups!
Check out the sweet traditional mugs!

We had a cool night on the town and then the next day we saw the beautiful city!

This is outside the world famous, year round, Christmas store that literally went on for  blocks! It was crazy! There were probably thirty some odd rooms full of xmas stuff!
Huge nutcracker outside the store!

DAS BOOT!

The huge wall that surrounds the city, you can walk all the way around it.
