What did you do today? Oh yeah, I set a world record...

When I woke up this morning, I really didn't think I was going to change to world. Boy was I wrong. Actually I didn't do much at all, but I did help break a Guinness World Record with those from Schwäbisch Hall! Last night after practice, Coach Gehrke told the team that if they had the time, to come and support the team and help break a world record! There was a new shopping mall area going into The Hall today and to make the opening a grand one, the city decided to break a world record in the process! They had the longest ribbon cutting ceremony in the world! The ribbon was 6.5 km long (which is just over 4 miles!) and everyone from the city helped to hold up the ribbon as they cut it near the shopping area! It made for quite a bit of excitement on an otherwise rainy afternoon!

Here is an area of the ribbon near our spot!

Bruno

Nish
Our area was in front of one of the biggest banks, and one of our sponsors, Sparkasse. We had to wear our jerseys to show our Unicorn pride!

Some crazy lady watching stuff go down

Justice

This is the truck that zoomed around the city and filmed the ribbon as it went,
to prove that we did it.

They had a big band and some people dressed in traditional garb.

More garb

Actual cutting of the ribbon!

Pictures being taken of the mayor, etc.

Boy my father must be hating my very mediocre photography haha. Oh, and we might have also been on TV. The mayor was getting interviewed after the ceremony and we made numerous attempts at getting ourselves into the cameras view... Picture Bandit!! Shout out to Mickey Inns and Mace's crew moving into their new house and being willed our glorious B pong table! May it serve you well fellas!

Bike Ride Number One

We were going to have a little bike adventure yesterday during our "nice little Monday", but things ran a little late and we had to push it to today. It was well worth the wait! We rode our bikes to the Reha to work out than made a trek around the countryside on some very cool bike/jogging paths (I think it might be a soft j?) So I took quite a few pictures, hopefully the are decent enough to do the beautiful area some justice.

Bums couldn't even ride up the hill..

The path we were riding on for a while

We found a sweet jump on the path... I think I got like three feet of air that time...

A little video of the view

We were riding on the outside of a little community

Crazy totem pole #1 that were on the side of the path

Narrow path!

Sheep right off the path, super steep hill.

Little bench for us to sit and enjoy

We actually have a nice little Monday planned...

We are gonna go to Home depot, maybe even bed bath and beyond,
I don't know if we will have enough time!

Since we have so much free time as Ami's, we were talking on Sunday and decided to plan out our day a little bit more, instead of just being bums until we worked out. So I also decided to document our day, giving you a pretty good tour of where the heck we are at over here, and where we go during the day!

We began our day by having Nish pump gas for the second time in his life.

Then we had some sandwiches at Subw.. (cough)... Mr. Sub!
Then we headed to the gym to work out at the Reha.

This is our main man Pit! Works at the Reha and plays DE for the Unicorns.

Nice pic of the main area

Out the window haha

Nice little gym where we like to shoot hoops or play indoor soccer

Uh oh! Locker room pic!

The logo of the Club the Unicorns are affiliated with, TSG. We went to the field to throw the ball around

Outside Debi's Pizza, which is at the stadium

Debi's again

We had some chinese food, then decided to make a fire pit in the back yard. Not too shabby.

Yup

Yup again.

Then a late night Mcdonald's run, check out the giant ketchup package!
